2 new CM Sunday School classes will start on Oct 6 to Dec 1. Si Mo will lead a class exploring the origin of man (Gen. 1-5), non-believers & believers are welcome to join. Rev. Woo will lead a class exploring church problems (selected passage from 1 Cor.). Please go to the office for registration.

A seminar on "Emotional Illness" will be held on Oct 20 (Sun) at 2:30 - 4:00 pm at Bethel. A clinical psychologist & college lecturer will come to lead the seminar. Welcome to attend and invite friends to join. Free admission.
EM Christian Education will have a Topical Study from the Lifeguide Bible Studies Series on "Anxiety: Finding Comfort and Reassurance from God". The author, Skip McDonald, is a mental health nurse who also suffered from anxiety and has designed this Bible Study to help others to combat anxiety. It will be 8 weeks on Zoom every Wednesday nights @ 7:30 pm-8:30 pm starting October 2, 2024. Please sign up with Pastor Peter Chong through email: peter.chong@bethelmb.org . Deacon Election was successfully held on last Sunday, September 22. 165 active members were eligible to vote, and a total of 110 ballots were returned which exceeded the required quorum of 99 returned ballots. (Candidate must receive at least 60% of the total returned ballots, that is 66 votes, to be effectively elected.) “Yes” votes received as follows:
