弟兄姊妹们主内平安！

让我透过这信与大家分享一个「家」字。 「家」，是一种归宿，是心停泊的港湾，它可以给任何一个人温暖的感觉；是我们倾诉心事的地方。有家，就有安全感；有家，才有归属感。

在主日崇拜程序表里家讯的第一项提到 ：... 愿神赐福你们，让颂主堂成为你们属灵的「家」。这不是教会的一个口号，属灵的「家」建基于我们有同一个信仰。弗4:4-6「身体只有一个，圣灵只有一个，正如你们蒙召，同有一个指望。一主，一信，一洗，一神...」而不是建基在我们有同一的意见，同一的看法，同一的目标... 等等。虽然我们有许多的不同，但因为有主的生命在我们里面，使我们可以合一。主的生命是充满爱的生命，但这爱是舍己的爱，不求自己益处的爱。这爱是从彼此信任、彼此理解、彼此包容、彼此关心、彼此扶持、彼此帮助，互相建立起「一家人」的关系。「一家人」的关系是从「家」延伸出来。不单止我们要有属灵的家，更重要的是属灵家的一家人，这表示我们㑹积极的参加家里面的事；积极去帮助家里面的需要。今年教会有很多不同的事工，需要你们参与。不管你是做带领的，做参与的，做服事的，主要用你，因为神赐恩赐和才干给你 -- 每一位在颂主堂的肢体，每一位都需要发挥出来，叫我们一起来建立教会。

有一首诗歌 「一家人」给我很大的提醒，诗歌的内容是「让我们彼此相爱，虽然我们有着许多不同，耶稣爱你，耶稣爱我，在耶稣里，我们是一家人。让我们手牵着手，当你跌倒我会在你左右，我扶着你，你陪着我，在耶稣里，我们是一家人。」这正是今年教会的主题，约15:5 「我是葡萄树，你们是枝子。常在我里面的，我也常在他里面，这人就多结果子。因为离了我，你们就不能做什么。」让我们与主结连，常在主里，生命更像恩主，并且大家携手建立教会。

Dear brothers & sisters,

Let me share the word "home" with you in this letter. "Home" is a destination, a harbor for the heart to rest, it can give any person a warm feeling; it is a place where we can confide our innermost thoughts. With a home, we feel safe; with a home, we feel a sense of belonging.

In the Sunday service bulletin, the first item of the Family News mentions: ... May God bless you and may Bethel become your spiritual "home". This is not just a slogan of the church. Our spiritual "home" is based on the same faith that we share, rather than based on us having the same opinions, the same views, the same goals, etc. Ephesians 4:4-6 "There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God..." Although we have many differences, we can be united because we have the Lord's life in us. The Lord's life is a life full of love, but this love is self-sacrificing love, a love that is not self-seeking. This love builds a "one family" relationship with each other from mutual trust, mutual understanding, mutual forgiving, mutual care, mutual support, and mutual help. The relationship of "one family" extends from the "home". We not only need to have a spiritual home, but more importantly, we need to be one family in the spiritual home. This means that we actively participate in the affairs of the family; actively help with family needs. This year, the church has many different ministries that need your participation. Whether you are a leader, a participant, or a servant, the Lord wants to use you. God has given you gifts and talents – Every member of Bethel, every one of us, needs to make use of our gifts and talents so that we can build up the church together.

There is a hymn called "One Family" that gives me a good reminder. The song lyrics are "Let us love one another. Though we have many differences, Jesus loves you, Jesus loves me. In Jesus, we are one family. Let us go hand in hand. When you fall, I'll be by your side. I'll support you. You'll be there for me. In Jesus, we are one family." This is exactly our church theme for this year, John 15:5 "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” Let us connect with the Lord, remain in Him, let our lives be more like Lord Jesus, and let us join together to build up the church.
