Family News:

  1. 2025 Theme: "Abide in Christ, Renewal in life."
    Theme verse: "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5, NIV)
  2. Today is Easter Sunday. Bethel has prepared Easter eggs for every congregation. Easter eggs represent new life and rebirth gained by Jesus Christ's death and resurrection.
  3. After Sunday Service, there will be CM Sunday School meeting at 12:15 p.m. in the side sanctuary to learn how to share the gospel. All are welcome to join.
  4. CM Prayer Meeting will be held on Apr 23 (Wednesday) from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. via Zoom to pray for the members who are in the workforce. Congregants are welcome to attend and make Bethel a prayer driven church. Please contact church office for Zoom link information.
  5. Plan to Protect® Committee will be holding two in-person orientation training workshops at Bethel for brothers and sisters who are serving children, youth, and vulnerable adults at Bethel to learn about Bethel's abuse prevention policy and the best practices to protect these vulnerable persons and the serving personnel. The first workshop will be conducted in English and it will be held on April 24 (Thursday) from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The second workshop will be conducted in Cantonese and it will be held on May 17 (Saturday) from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. All interested Bethel congregants are welcome to attend.
  6. Bethel will hold a Summer Kids Day Camp on Aug 11 to 22, early bird registration is now open. For inquiries and registration please contact Pr. Grace.
  7. The 53rd Greater Vancouver Bible Study Conference will be held at 7:30 p.m. from May 1-4 at Evangelical Chinese Bible Church. All are welcome to attend.
  8. The 44th Anniversary Thanksgiving Dinner of Lighthouse Harbor Ministries will be held at 6pm on Monday, May 5, at Continental Seafood Restaurant. If any congregants are interested in attending and supporting the ministry, please contact Rev. Woo.
  9. The kitchen in the basement will be closed for renovation from tomorrow until it is completed. Please be careful when entering and leaving the basement.
