    Theme verse: "Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth." (1 John 3:18)

  2. November Missions Bi-week
    Theme: "Go, see, feel and seek the harvest field"
    "Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." (Matthew 9:35-38)

  3. Nov 8: Plot of "End of the Spear"
    In 1956, five missionaries determined to spread Christianity to wild and undeveloped lands. They abandoned their comfortable and stable lives in the United States and flew to the primitive jungles of Ecuador, hoping to spread Christianity to the uncivilized locals. Unfortunately, almost as soon as they set foot on the tribe's territory, they were killed by Indians armed with spears. Minkayani is a warrior of the Waodani tribe. He witnessed the entire process of the killing of these missionaries and saw that although they were holding pistols, they never pulled the trigger. After the battle, Minkayani found the missionary's relics and looked forward to seeing these people from the outside world again so that he could have a chance to answer his questions. Two years later, the wives and sisters of two of the missionaries also set foot in this tropical rain forest. With the legacy of their loved ones in mind, they re-preached the gospel to the tribal people. Here, they met Mingkayani, who had become the leader of the tribe.... Finally, the whole tribe believed in the Lord.
  4. November 11 (Monday) is Bethel’s annual Leaders Retreat. The event will start at 9 a.m. in the basement and end at 5 p.m. New, former and present deacons, Department heads and members, and all ministry personnel are welcomed to attend. Participants please go to the office to register. Thank you.
  5. As winter has come, the Gospel Cantonese Opera group will be suspended from November to March and will resume in April. Please take note of that.
  6. Deacons' Board Meeting will be held today at 2 p.m. at the library, all deacons please attend the meeting on time, congregations please pray for the meeting.
  7. Cantonese Prayer Meeting will be held at 12 p.m. Today's prayer focus is November Missions program, all are welcomed to join and made Bethel a prayer driven church.

  3. 11月8日："亞馬遜悲歌"劇情
    1956年，五名立志將基督教傳播到蠻荒未開發之地的傳教士，拋棄了美國舒適安定的生活，飛到厄瓜多的原始叢林，希望能向當地尚未開化的印地安部落Waodani族宣揚福音，不幸的是，他們幾乎一踏上這個部落的領地，就被手持長矛的印地安人殺害。明卡亞尼是Waodani部落的戰士，他目睹了這幾位傳教士被殺害的整個過程，也看到他們雖然持著手槍卻始終未扣動扳機。戰鬥結束之後，明卡亞尼找到傳教士的遺物，並期待著能夠再見到這些外面世界來的人，以便有機會解開自己心頭的疑問。兩年後，其中二位傳教士的妻子和妹妹也踏上這塊熱帶雨林，心懷她們所愛之人的遺志，重新向部落居民宣揚福音，在這裡，她們遇到已經成為部落首領的明卡亞尼…… 最後，全族人信主。

  7. 12時於副堂有粵語祈禱會，為11月的差傳活動禱告，歡迎會眾踴躍出席，讓頌主堂成為禱告的教會。
